Lucy Drummond is Head of Semiconductors at Beaumont Bailey, where she partners with manufacturers and suppliers across the semiconductor value chain to identify the senior executives and operational leaders who will drive Europe’s next wave of chip manufacturing investment. With a primary focus on the European market, Lucy works with foundries, integrated device manufacturers, equipment and materials companies, and PE-backed scale-ups to secure high-impact leadership talent at a time of unprecedented industry expansion.

Beaumont Bailey’s Semiconductor practice sits within the firm’s broader industrial and advanced manufacturing capability. As Europe mobilises €69 billion of investment under the EU Chips Act, with a proposed Chips Act 2.0 aiming to unlock a further €200 billion by 2035, the demand for experienced executive and site leadership has never been greater. New fabs, joint ventures and expansion programmes across Germany, France, the Netherlands and beyond are creating a significant talent gap at C-suite, VP and plant leadership level. Beaumont Bailey’s cross-sector reach, spanning industrial manufacturing, chemicals, automation and advanced materials, enables the firm to source leaders from adjacent industries who bring the operational rigour and scaling experience semiconductor businesses need.

Lucy joined Beaumont Bailey in 2021 and has built deep relationships across the European ecosystem. Her approach combines rigorous market mapping with genuine sector expertise, allowing her to hold credible, insight-led conversations with both clients and candidates at the most senior levels.
